Seven Pillars of Social Justice

The Seven Pillars of Social Justice represent a comprehensive framework aimed at creating a more equitable and just society. These pillars address fundamental needs and rights, ensuring that every individual has access to the resources and opportunities necessary for a dignified life. By focusing on key areas such as education, family support, healthcare, housing, and social justice, these pillars serve as the foundation for building strong, resilient communities that leave no one behind.

1. Empower Babies, Children, and Teens


This pillar emphasizes the importance of nurturing young people from infancy through their teenage years, both in school and beyond. It includes a focus on Advanced Placement (AP) courses, American history based on factual research, health education, life skills, civics, entrepreneurialism, Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), Fashion Arts Music Entertainment (FAME), and sports/recreation.

2. Support Families in Distress


This pillar recognizes the need to provide robust support to families facing hardships. Whether due to economic struggles, social challenges, or other crises, it is crucial to ensure that families receive the necessary resources and assistance to navigate their difficulties.

3. Protect Victims of Domestic Violence

4. Combat Hunger and Food Insecurity


This pillar focuses on ensuring that everyone has access to adequate nutrition, addressing the root causes of food insecurity and hunger, and eliminating the barriers that prevent individuals from obtaining the food they need.

5. Provide Housing for the Homeless


This pillar advocates for the development of housing solutions that meet the needs of the homeless population, ensuring that everyone has a safe and stable place to live.

6. Ensure Access to Healthcare


This pillar is dedicated to making medical services accessible to all individuals, regardless of their socioeconomic status, and works towards a healthcare system that is equitable and available to everyone.

7. Fulfill the Promise of a Just Society


This pillar focuses on helping individuals achieve a fulfilling life as part of a new global social compact. It is rooted in the ideals expressed in the United States’ Declaration of Independence and its evolution as a nation, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together. The goal is to ensure that no one is left behind.
