Global Compact

The Global Compact for Democracy with a #JustEconomy is an ambitious initiative designed to reshape the global economic landscape by addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges through a comprehensive framework. This initiative is part of a broader effort to promote sustainability, equity, and justice on a global scale, particularly for marginalized communities, including People of African Descent.

Key Objectives

1. Economic Justice and Reparations

The Compact aims to address historical and systemic inequalities through economic justice and reparations. This includes the integration of the Black Folks Plan for Reparatory Justice, which aligns with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and other global initiatives dedicated to uplifting African descendants and other marginalized communities.

2. Global Collaboration

The Compact promotes global collaboration through the creation of alliances and partnerships. This includes the development of a global BIPOCA (Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Allied white folk) alliance, fostering cooperation among diverse communities to tackle systemic issues and promote shared prosperity.

3. Sustainable Development and Technology Integration

Central to the Compact is the integration of advanced technologies, including the C7ISR3 platform, which embeds ISO 26000:2010 standards and supports sustainable development goals. This platform facilitates real-time solutions and global cooperation through advanced communication, computing, and control systems, driving innovation in areas such as healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability.

Connection to the Black Folks Plan

The Global Compact for Democracy with a #JustEconomy is deeply connected to the Black Folks Plan, which seeks to achieve reparatory justice and economic empowerment for African Americans and other marginalized groups. By aligning with the goals of the Black Folks Plan, the Compact ensures that the voices and needs of African descendants are central to the global conversation on democracy and economic justice.

Strategic Partnerships

The Compact is supported by a network of strategic partnerships, including collaborations with financial institutions like JPMorgan Chase and organizations such as the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC). These partnerships are designed to leverage resources and expertise to achieve the Compact’s objectives, particularly in areas such as carbon emissions reduction, sustainable development, and economic empowerment.
